I chose Cayuga Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program because I wanted to train in a program that values holistic primary care medicine whereby social determinants of health and interdisciplinary approaches to addressing the complexities of healthcare in various contexts are built into the framework of the program.

This program focuses on primary care training which aligns with my goals. I also was reassured during my interview and meet and greet session with residents -- Cayuga is an incredibly supportive program.  

I really value the balance of outpatient and inpatient learning, the resident led conferences and didacts are great.  And Ithaca is a wonderful place to be!
